My name is Lisa and I am the founder of East Grease Skincare! I'm a 30 year old mom of 2 kids and I've been married to my husband Shane for 8 years! My passion has always been helping others - its what drives me both in my 9-5 job working with the elderly, and in everything I do!

After becoming a mom, I started looking for creative outlets to bring me joy and support my mental health. That's when I discovered the world of homemade Beef Tallow Balm and body butters - and I instantly fell in love with formulating! What began as a simple hobby quickly turned into a true passion. I'm always thinking of what I can make next!

At East Grease Skincare, I love creating products that are good for you, made with minimal simple ingredients - and that are gentle on the environment too!
What does East Grease mean?
I'm from a small town in Minnesota and for decades, the people of my town have been known as the "East Greasers". It started as a lighthearted joke from our neighboring town across the river, but over time it became something we wear with pride - a symbol of our small town spirit and sense of humor.

So when I started making skincare products - many of which are made with nourishing beef tallow (a natural "grease" of sorts!) - the name East Grease Skincare just felt perfect. It's a playful nod to where I come from and what I love: creating simple, natural products that are as real and down to earth as the people who inspired the name.
